The recent economic recession has devastated the building industry causing many companies to exit the specialty millwork trade and those that remain face tough economic choices that ultimately limit their abilities. Rather than join the trend to import door products produced in foreign factories, where quality is relative, communication difficult, last minute adjustments impossible, and results often disappointing, we found a better way. At Florida Impact Doors we recognized this time as an opportunity to build on our strengths with design innovations like our recently developed folding door concept that compliments our standard doors and offers a simple, stylish and affordable alternative to code approved SGD replacements.  As part of this program we have eliminated the need for costly modifications of the opening by building to exact opening sizes. We've eleminated the hassels of ordering special sizes and now offer a special stocking program for solid wood, interior and hurricane-rated exterior doors, in multiple glazed or panel configurations, that seriously compete on price and availability. Lead times for custom sized interior or exterior door orders can be as little as three weeks.
